Book lovers in Marianna and the surrounding areas were able to get a bargain Wednesday.
The Jackson County Public Library is in the midst of its annual book sale.
The prices range from a dime to three-dollars.
Library executive director, Joann Roundtree, says the money raised through the sale will go back to the purchase of new books and other needed equipment for the library.
"We’re selling ones we don't need and selling ones off the shelf because they are no longer being checked out. Some of them are almost new," said Roundtree.
Mrs. Roundtree says the sale will continue until most of the books are sold.
