An eighteen-month old child in Florida is found safe Sunday morning after he was left inside a car that was later traded for drugs.
According to police Jamir Worgs was left in a car while his mother was out partying in Seminole County, Florida. Authorities say she loaned the car to a friend, with her child still inside.
Then he took the car to another house where he left the child inside with the engine running.
That's when another man, 36-year old David Carver, allegedly stole the car from that location.
After discovering the child he left the baby in front of a home in Longwood.
Investigators say Carver then took the vehicle to another location and traded it for drugs.
Carver was arrested and charged with grand theft auto and child neglect.
The mother and friend face neglect charges in Seminole County.
The child was later discovered and taken to a hospital to be checked out.
He was released to the custody of the Sheriff's child protection office.
