Kellogg officials are recalling 16 products that contain peanut butter and it could be connected to a recent salmonella outbreak.

A Georgia peanut supplier that works with Kellogg said it would be expanding its recall of peanut butter.

The centers for disease control and prevention say 453 people in 43 states, including one in Canada, have been infected with salmonella so far.

At least five people have died and North Carolina is reporting a sixth death that the c-d-c hasn't yet confirmed.
