The Altrusa Club of Enterprise encourages young ladies from 4 to 21 not to miss the opportunity to be selected as an Enterprise queen and represent the city for the next year.
The deadline to enter the Future Little Miss, Little Miss, Junior Miss and Miss Enterprise pageants is Feb. 8, but participants will have an early opportunity to register and attend an orientation Jan. 25 at the First United Methodist Church, in the fellowship hall behind the church.
Paperwork, forms, rules and other information will be handed out at that time. Rules will be discussed by each director and scoring procedures will be explained.
Orientation for Future Little Miss contestants, ages 4, 5 and 6-year-olds not in first grade) will begin at 1:30 p.m.
Little Miss contestants (all first graders) will meet at 2:30 p.m.
Junior Miss contestants (7th, 8th and 9th graders) will meet at 3:30 p.m. and Miss Enterprise contestants (11th graders through 21 years old, residents of Enterprise) will meet at 3:30 p.m.
Photo Day will be Feb. 8, which will be the only opportunity for photos to be taken for the Photogenic competition.
The Altrusa Club will host the pageant March 28 at the Elba High School auditorium. The Future Little Miss and Little Miss categories will be judged at 1 p.m. , and the Junior Miss and Miss Enterprise categories will be judged at 6 p.m.
