Recovery efforts could be limited if two or more hurricanes hit the U.S in different locations around the same time.

According to the Associated Press, the war in Iraq is using some of the United States' Homeland Defense supplies, leaving America in a shortage.

Reports say the National Guard has spent almost $1.4 billion dollars restocking its units.

Local guard officials say they have sent some of their equipment to other units. However, they say they would have no problem responding to an emergency.
