It was like CSI Wednesday at Cottonwood High School.
The Houston County crime scene unit visited juniors and seniors.
Forensics is a new elective class at the school.
Students had a chance to see equipment investigators use to help solve cases.
“I thought it was very interesting and informative and I learned things like fuming for fingerprints and gathering evidence and things like that,” said Megan Mitchell, 12th Grader.
Many students stayed after class to learn more about the crime scene unit.
