Cocaine Washes Ashore on Florida Beach

The cocaine was found washed ashore Sunday morning on Indian Pass Beach. It had been wrapped in waterproof plastic and sealed with tape.

Officials estimate the cocaine's worth at $2.4 million.

The packaging had barnacles on it, indicating it had been in the water for some time.

Authorities say investigators will turn the cocaine over to U.S. Customs and monitor area beaches for additional packages.
