New Brockton Town Council Controversy

New Brockton Police Chief Dale Grimes angrily accused a town councilman of illegally obtaining personal information about his credit card.

During this month's council meeting, Chief Grimes says Councilman Doug Pittman has a personal vendetta against him and the police department.

Chief Grimes says he has obtained an attorney and told the councilman to cease and desist.

Councilman Pittman did not wish to make a statement in regard to the allegations made against him at the council meeting.

Just another case of the "Good Ole Boy Network" out of control. Finally there is a mayor in New Brockton that will not tolerate this kind of behavior. Emotion, retaliation, and downright nasty attitudes have no place in politics--it is what is WRONG with our country now. Mayor Herron acted by the book...sorry if SOME of the "Good Ole Boys" don't like that!

This type of activity seems to standard procedure for small towns, every couple of years some small town scandal is reported by the news media. Everything from showing favoritism to some citizens and not to others. Cronyism and Nepotism seem to be the standard.
