Coffee County School Budget Approved

In Coffee County, the school district has approved its upcoming school year budget, which officially gets underway October 1st.

Nearly $2 million of the $18 million dollar budget will go toward classrooms and several renovations at Zion Chapel School.

In addition, renovation projects will get underway at Kinston School during the year.

Superintendent, Dr. Linda Ingram, says the goal is to refurbish the school to its original 1920 era look.
