The old train depot next to the Wiregrass Museum of Art is now open for business.

David Parker, a local photographer, bought the building and turned it into a reception hall now known as "The Depot Off Main."

There is a dance floor, a stage, plenty of room for parking and even a water fountain for show.

There are also many accommodations for caterers including an ice machine, deluxe stove, and refrigerator.

So far, there have already been two parties at the venue.

"A lot of people told me that there was a need for that in Dothan, there are not enough of them, and this is such a historic place, there is so much character and I wanted to share that with the public as well," says Parker.

If you want to rent it, or check it out yourself, call David Parker at 794-3447.
