Court officials aren't sure how many people will attend Wednesday's federal appeals court hearing in Montgomery in the Ten Commandments monument case.
Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore installed a two-ton granite Ten Commandments display in the rotunda of the State Judicial Building nearly two years ago. Three Alabama attorneys filed a lawsuit challenging the monument's display.
The Ten Commandments trial drew an overflow crowd on two days.
Montgomery Federal Judge Myron Thompson ruled the display was unconstitutional and ordered it removed. But has allowed it to remain in place pending Moore's appeal.
And that's what has led to Wednesday's hearing by the Atlanta based 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
