An Ozark man who pled guilty to aggravated child abuse last month was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Twenty-four-year-old Eddie Ledbetter was convicted of abusing his girlfriend’s seven-year-old son.

Ledbetter faced up to 20-years in prison and received a $30,000 fine.

Family members of the young boy say Tuesday's sentencing is "bitter sweet."

The boy's 27-year-old mother was also charged with child abuse. June Vicky Henry is still waiting to stand trial.
