This year alone, over 1.4 million Americans will hear the words, “you have cancer”. The American Cancer Society of Houston County is working to make the Holidays brighter for local residents battling this disease by hosting a Cancer Survivors’ Holiday Breakfast on Saturday, December 13th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The event will be held at Covenant United Methodist Church.
The Holiday Breakfast is free to attend, and is open to all cancer survivors in the community. Survivors may bring one guest or their caregiver to the event. An RSVP is appreciated.
To reserve your place today and for more information, call the American Cancer Society’s Dothan office at 334-794-0600 ext.4.
The American Cancer Society is the nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy and service.
