A one-vehicle accident near the Henry/Barbour County line sends five to the hospital Friday afternoon, according to Alabama state troopers.
Alabama state troopers investigating the accident believe the car likely hydro-planed leading it to exit the highway.
The vehicle struck a fence off the north-bound road and crashed into the front of a cemetery, hitting a few headstones and more.
The accident caused a gas line to rupture and crews from Southeast Alabama Gas District are working to repair it.
Troopers on the scene say the injuries were not critical or life-threatening.
