Two Men Wanted for Nightclub Shooting in Custody

Dothan police arrest two men in connection with a murder that happened at a night club near downtown Dothan.

Early Sunday morning police say Ruderick Tywon Williams was gunned down after an apparent argument between two groups of people.

The shooting happened at Southern Night's Lounge at around 2:15 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities believe 20-year-old Solomon Mikail Knight fired the fatal shot.

They’ve been searching for him and another man believed to be involved, 20-year-old Dametrius Roberts. Amidst media attention, both turned themselves in to police Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities say both Knight and Roberts have been charged with murder as the result of the investigation by Detective John Crawford.

There were two brothers also wanted for questioning 20-year-old Jonathan Jerome Berry and 20-year-old Jimmy Lamar Barry. They have been interviewed and released.

Knight and Roberts have been booked into the Houston County jail. Police have asked for no bond on Knight, and a $500,000 bond for Roberts.
