Attorney opening statements and testimony got underway in the trial of an Enterprise man charged with murder.
In July 2007, Joshua Alexander allegedly gunned down Antron Gray in the parking lot of an Enterprise apartment complex.
Shortly after the shooting, police arrested Alexander at a relative's home in Dothan.
Monday, defense lawyers painted the shooting victim as a neighborhood troublemaker.
Several police officers who responded to the shooting were called to testify.
The case is expected to go to the 12-member Coffee County jury sometime Tuesday.
It is unknown at this time whether Alexander will take the witness stand in his own defense.
