Jury Selection Begins In Dothan Store Shooting

Jury selection began in the trial of a Wiregrass teenager charged with shooting two police officers earlier this year.

19-year-old Andrevis Davis of Headland is charged with first degree kidnapping, 2 counts of attempted murder and one count of 1st degree robbery.

Davis and two Dothan police officers exchanged gunshots at the Hobo Pantry off Highway 84 east near Beverley Road.

Both officers have since recovered and remain at the police department.

Davis is being tried as an adult.
