Second Arson Arrest

arrest

Another suspect in a local insurance fraud scheme is in jail.

Forty-two-year-old Thomas Spradlin is charged with second degree arson.

He was picked up earlier this week on the arson charges after he was released from prison where he had been serving time for theft.

Last week, 41-year-old Ralph Lingo was charged with theft, conspiracy to commit arson and intimidating a witness.

Investigators say Spradlin and Lingo are accused of burning down a mobile home in Taylor two years ago for the insurance money.
