A Pasco County paramedic who authorities believe stole money from a patient's wallet has arrested.
Joshua Vitori, 26, is facing a grand theft charge.
Sheriff's officials did not provide further details of the arrest to the St. Petersburg Times, and evidence investigators used to link Vitori to the crime remained unclear.
According to a sheriff's office report, Vitori responded to a
Zephyrhills home where a man was having chest pains in July.
The man's wife handed a paramedic his wallet and when the wallet was returned, $300 was missing.
Vitori told investigators he never opened the wallet or saw
money inside it.
