An annual survey by Forbes Magazine and economy.com ranks Dothan as the 101st best small city to do business in America.
Business owners in revitalized "Dixie" agree with the survey. They are surprised by how fast their businesses have grown.
At lunchtime, the restaurants are busy with take out orders and people dining in.
The owner of Wings and Fins says the Forbes' survey sends a positive message for Dothan.
