Gulf Body Identified

Florida police in Destin are treating the drowning of a Peruvian college student as a possible homicide.

The medical examiner's office has ruled out natural causes contributing to the death, but isn't saying what it has found.

Twenty-five-year-old Janne Vargas of Peru was in Walton County Florida on a student visa.

Investigators say she and a friend went to the beach last Tuesday when Vargas decided to go for a swim.

When she didn't return, her friend thought she may have gone to another part of the beach, but the next day her body washed ashore.
