A Dothan pharmaceutical distribution center is expanding and bringing several jobs to the area.
Amerisource Bergen, one of the largest pharmaceutical services companies in America, is investing $12 million to expand its local oncology distribution center with the addition of a new building.
The new building will add 70,000 square feet to the company's current operations and at full development will add more than 40-new jobs.
The project will begin later this summer in the Dothan industrial park located off Horace Shepard drive.
Alabama Governor Bob Riley says oncology supply's investment and expansion is important to the state of Alabama but also to the Wiregrass area.
