A 6-year-old boy abducted from his home at
gunpoint is safe in his father's custody.
Cole Puffinburger was found by a bus driver Saturday night on a
Las Vegas street. He'd been missing since Wednesday.
An official with the Regional Transportation Commission of
Southern Nevada says a bus driver for the disabled saw the boy
walking alone on a quiet residential street and pulled over to see
if he was OK. He says "Cole approached the bus and asked the
driver, 'Can you take me home?"'
The bus driver took Cole onto the bus and contacted police. The
child told the driver and riders that he had been dropped off just
a few minutes before.
Police say they believe drug dealers abducted Cole to send a
message to his grandfather, who has been arrested in California.
