Lightning Strikes Florida Apartment Complex

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Fire officials say a lightning strike
at a Daytona Beach apartment complex caused $15,000 worth of
damage.

No injuries were reported in the Thursday afternoon fire.

Lt. Fred Godawa, of the Daytona Beach Fire Department, says a
fire investigator believes the blaze started when lightning hit the
building's roof. The fire was burning inside a bathroom wall.
