Representatives from local businesses gathered at the 13th Annual Community Job Fair.
More than a thousand people attended, resumes in hand, hoping to showcase their work skills and experience.
Residents had the opportunity to visit over 60 booths of job opportunities.
"It's a chance for employees from prospective employees to meet a lot of employers under one roof and get a chance to talk to a lot of people without having to go to each individual employee," says Shirley Jones, President of Houston County jobs task force.
Job fair officials say this is the largest turnout they have seen yet.
