The convicted ringleader in the 1973 murder of six family members in Seminole County Georgia is scheduled to die by lethal injection.
The execution for Carl Isaacs is set for May 6. That's almost one week from the anniversary of the murders.
The U.S. Supreme Court denied the 49-year-old Isaacs' appeal to overturn his sentence.
He has been sitting on death row in Jackson State Prison for 30 years.
Six members of the Alday family were shot to death during a burglary at their mobile home on May 14, 1973.
Isaacs and two other men, George Dungee and Wayne Coleman, were convicted of the murders and sentenced to die in 1974.
However, Dungee's and Coleman's sentences were reduced to life in prison by a federal appeals court.
