This August will mark the ninth anniversary in the disappearance of a wiregrass teenager. There may be new developments in the unsolved case of Kemberly Ramer.
Ramer was last seen at her father's Opp home in August of 1997. She was about to start her senior year at Opp High School when she suddenly vanished.
Over the years there have been several land and water searches, most of them in northern Walton County.
Friday, a tip has generated new interest.
The Walton County Sheriff's Department confirms FBI personnel have been examining an undisclosed site for evidence in Ramer's disappearance.
News 4 will keep you updated if and when any information in the case is released.
