The War on Terror hit close to home with word of two soldiers from Ft. Rucker being killed.
The two soldiers were assigned to B Company, 46th Engineer Battalion and were killed during an indirect fire attack in Iraq Tuesday.
The names of the soldiers will be released 24 hours after their next of kin are notified. That’s in accordance with Department of Defense policy.
Three other soldiers assigned to the same unit were also injured during the attack. One has been treated and released. Their names are being withheld to respect their privacy.
