Friday in Enterprise, more than hundred Fort Rucker soldiers took part in a four-year-old community project.
Members of Alpha Company first and 13th are assisting the Oscar club in the renovation of the Enterprise Welcome Center.
It's located near the intersection of Rucker Boulevard and the Boll Weevil Circle.
The soldiers refurbished the walkway, painted the outside of the little red school house, and pressure washed the aging building.
"Our city we support is Geneva, but we decided to come out here closer to home in enterprise to try and give assistance to the town…To show the army is here to help in any way possible," said Lt. Patrick Hall
A group of soldiers also worked to clean up the overall appearance of several enterprise parks as well.
