Emergency officials say gusty onshore winds could combine with
increasing ocean swells caused by a developing storm system just
east of the Carolina coastline to create a moderate rip current
risk.

Easterly winds could also create the risk of rip currents along Florida's Panhandle and Big Bend beaches.

Beachgoers are urged to be cautious.
