The local and state 2009 fiscal year gets underway, the Enterprise city council has approved its blueprint for the next 12-months.
For the city's nearly 300 employees, they will see salaries increase anywhere from 4-to-7.5 percent.
In addition, the town plans to cover any increase in employee health insurance premiums.
Nearly half of the overall 72-million budget involves a bond to rebuild Enterprise High School and Hillcrest Elementary.
The council approved Tuesday, December 9th to hold a referendum on transferring a property tax levy to the school system.
The revenue is considered integral in paying back the bond to rebuild the schools.
