Chipley police have been targeting the meth and crack cocaine trades operating in that panhandle city.
Following a several month investigation Chipley Police Chief Kevin Crews says the net results' speak volumes, more than one-dozen city residents arrested on a host of drug charges
Chief Crews says his department has been flooded by citizen complaints of illegal narcotics in the downtown district and across the city.
"It never ends, drugs is something that we'll always work to curtail. It is meth, it is crack, and now prescription drugs have become really big in the area, we've made arrests of folks as far away as Fort Walton Beach here in Chipley"
Chief Crews says you can never eliminate drugs from your town. However, you can make it more difficult for drug pushers' operating in a community.
