Florida governor Charlie Crist says the state's fuel supply has not been affected by the aftermath of Hurricane Ike, but residents have reported gas stations hiking prices in the storm's wake.
As of Sunday afternoon, the Attorney General's Office had received more than 350 complaints about gasoline price gouging after Ike.
The office announced Sunday it would ask four companies for documentaion related to the prices the companies paid for gasoline and the price they sold it at. Those companies were Flying J, Dodge's Gas Stores, Valero and Pilot Travel Centers. The Attorney General's office said consumer complaints against these stations have been particularly high in several areas of the state.
