Alzheimer's disease robs a person of their ability to do the simplest of things or to even recognize their own family members.
The Alzheimer's resource center wants to help "share the care" for those who are taking care of a loved one with Alzheimer's.
Team captains for the upcoming, “Walk to Remember” met at noon Friday.
Teams will be forming to walk and raise money for the resource center.
The local resource center relies on this fundraiser to help provide educational materials and support for caregivers.
For more information call the resource center at 334-702-2273.
