A Bonifay man is arrested after police say he broke into an occupied home while under the influence of drugs and/ or alcohol.
Holmes County Sheriff's deputies say 27-year old Michael Ray Land broke into a home on North Waukesha Street.
Deputies say Land was covered in blood and said he didn't know where he was, or how he got there.
Upon arrest, he slug blood on the deputy.
Land was transported to doctor’s memorial hospital for treatment and later placed under arrest for burglary of an occupied dwelling, attempted theft and battery on a law enforcement officer.
Land was out on bond for pending charges in Washington County.
