Police Arrest Florida Man, Suspected in 7 Bank Robberies in 3 States

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Mobile FBI officials say a Florida man who is suspected in seven bank robberies in three different states has
been arrested by police in South Carolina.

Myron William Ernst, aka Christopher Allen Roan, of Orlando, Fla., was arrested late last week.

He is accused of robbing banks in Orange Park and Panama City in Florida, banks in the cities of Huntsville, Madison, Mobile and Montgomery in Alabama and one in Charleston, South Carolina.

Authorities say the robberies were conducted with the suspects giving the tellers a note demanding money and indicating he had a gun.
