A murder trial in Dothan has been delayed because the number one suspect is behind bars in Florida.
Twenty-year-old Seth Davis of Slocomb was arrested for the April 2004 shooting death of Hollis Salinas, and posted $50,000 bond.
Now the accused killer is currently being held without bond on a drug charge in the Washington County Jail.
Prosecutors say he also faces burglary and theft charges in Holmes and Geneva Counties.
The Houston County district attorney's office wants Davis back, but that could take a while.
Court officials in Florida want to revoke his probation on an earlier drug conviction and send him to a prison in the Sunshine State.
A hearing in that case is set for Tuesday.
