Garbage cans were tipped over throughout the area and several counties reported brush in the road.

Sunday, many residents were clearing branches, twigs and leaves from their yards.

"It’s going to be a long time to clean it up but at least we got the rain, and that will help the dryness, but I think we're blessed to not have more damage like some other people have experienced," says Elizabeth Bloodworth of Chapelwood Road in Dothan.

Cities haven't announced if they'll be increasing pick-ups for the coming weeks to accommodate the extra brush and debris that residents are clearing from their properties.
