Arrests Made in Connection With Recent Robberies

Authorities from several Wiregrass agencies believe they've solved a series of recent armed robberies and home break-ins.

Last week, Phillip Curtis had his Elba area home broken into and burglarized. Many of the stolen items have now been recovered.

Curtis is one of eight homeowners across rural Coffee and Geneva counties who have been victimized.

Enterprise police arrested Shane Lee Godbey for several recent armed-robberies. He is also charged with receiving stolen property.

Enterprise resident Michael Killeen was also charged with receiving stolen property.

Authorities hope to make additional arrests in connection with the home-burglary ring.
