Authorities Seek Suspects in Home Break-ins

More than a dozen home break-ins in Coffee and Geneva counties have been reported since last Thursday, targeting houses along rural roads.

Coffee County Sheriff Dave Sutton had 15 deputies and support personnel patrol several communities along the Geneva County line.

In the last week, everything from groceries to diamond rings has been stolen.

The suspect or suspects appear to have the same method of entry.

A rock or brick is thrown through a back window. A door is then kicked-in and the suspects make their way inside.

The majority of the break-ins' have occurred in the Battens, Asbury, Tri-communities, and Mount Pleasant communities.

Those with possible information on the home break-in suspects call the Coffee County Sheriff's Department at 894-5535.
