GOP Criticize Bright’s Political Contributions

Republican leaders from throughout the second congressional district were in Dothan, criticizing Democratic nominee Bobby Bright.

The county GOP chairmen say Bright is accepting political contributions from liberal sources even though he claims to be a conservative.

They contend accepting money from the national Democratic Party will make him indebted to party leaders if he's elected.

The Bright campaign says their financial support comes from a broad spectrum of sources and that Bright will be a strong, independent leader in Washington.
