A large northwest Florida law enforcement agency has come to the aid of a small department in the Wiregrass.
New Brockton Police Chief Dale Grimes received two 2000 Ford Explorers over the weekend, and best of all they were donated, compliments of Bay County Sheriff Frank McKeithen.
Once repainted and stripped, the SUVs will be the first four-wheel vehicles for New Brockton.
Chief Grimes have also been able to acquire a free squad car from the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Department in Fort Walton Beach.
With help from larger agencies, Chief Grimes say it makes it possible to add needed vehicles to his fleet.
