A Coffee County man who is on probation for drugs is back in jail.
Jeffrey Pouncey allegedly led authorities on a high speed chase through two cities.
The 31-year-old faces charges including attempting to elude, reckless endangerment, driving with a suspended license and failure to stop.
Authorities say the chase began during a routine traffic stop in New Brockton, and then made its way to downtown Enterprise.
Pouncey is being held without bond at the Coffee County Jail.
A New Brockton police car sustained heavy damaged during the chase. There were no reported injuries.
