Activists and students from three Florida colleges were among those protesting Friday over the state's response to the death of a teenager at a Panama City juvenile boot camp.

The state's top law enforcement officer, Guy Tunnell resigned Thursday, amid criticism over his handling of the death investigation and disparaging remarks about Jesse Jackson and Senator Barack Obama's involvement in the matter.
