Earthquake

An earthquake rattled part of the Midwest Tuesday, registering a 5.0 magnitude.

The epicenter of the quake was about nine miles from Evansville, Indiana.

Tremors were felt across Indiana and parts of Kentucky and Illinois.

The earthquake is considered to be a moderate one, so only light damage was caused. Products fell of grocery store shelves.

Residents reported the earth moving, lights swaying, pictures falling and a few cracked chimneys and windows.

One minor injury was reported.
