Local Authorities Dealing with Teen Burglaries

Authorities in one Wiregrass city say they are alarmed with the ages of those arrested in a recent rash of break-ins.

At around 4 a.m. Tuesday morning, Geneva Police caught two 18-year-old residents allegedly breaking through the back of a jeep.

Over the weekend, an arrest of a 14-year-old was made after he reportedly got inside a neighbor's home and stole several items along with a child's piggy bank.

Police are also looking into a half-dozen vending machines that have been vandalized around town. The suspect or suspects made off on bicycles.

Geneva Police advise residents to make sure their homes and vehicles are locked at all times.
