Girls Gone Wild Gone to Texas

The "Girls Gone Wild" are gone. Organizers of a pay-per-view TV show featuring girls on spring break in Florida said the show has been moved -- to South Padre Island, Texas.

That word comes after city officials in Panama City Beach, Florida said they would arrest girls who show too much skin -- as well as those who encourage them to do it.

But a spokesman for Mantra Entertainment said the decision to move next Thursday's live broadcast to Texas was made more than a week ago -- for technical reasons. He said it had nothing to do with the threats of arrests.

Whatever the reason, the police chief in Panama City Beach said South Padre Island is welcome to host the show. He said, "It's a dandy place for it."
