Coffee County schools superintendent Dr. Linda Ingram has crunched the numbers many times.
But, they still don't look good for her school district. In addition to the projected six percent state proration cut, Dr. Ingram says her school system will spend more than $300,000 for rising health insurance and retirement benefit expenses.
There are five schools and more than 2,000 students in the Coffee County School System. A recent report to the school board indicated that six teaching positions may be lost in the next school year.
