Enterprise Employee Military Leave

The Enterprise City Council is backing those who serve in the war on terrorism.

The council has unanimously approved a military leave measure for city employees who serve in the National Guard.

If a military reservist is activated, he or she will not have to worry about a loss in pay. The city will make up the difference between their civilian pay and their military pay.

Also, all health insurance benefits will be maintained for the employee and his family.

The city has started a yellow ribbon campaign.

The ribbons will be placed in the council chambers for every city employee who is activated to military duty.
