Around 11 p.m. Monday, someone broke through the back of the JC Penneys store at the Enterprise Shopping Center.
The suspects smashed the glass of several jewelry display cases and took gold chains, earrings and necklaces. Investigators are still making a complete inventory of the stolen merchandise.
The suspects tripped a security alarm but left the building within one or two minutes after the alarm began.
